Wilks Score

The historic standard. Uses a 5th-order polynomial scale.

0.00
0400 (Competitive Club)600
400.0 points below club competitor benchmark

DOTS Score

Modern replacement for Wilks. More balanced for extreme weights.

0.00
0400 (Competitive Club)600
400.0 points below club competitor benchmark

IPF GL Points

Official IPF system. Uses exponential scaling parameters.

0.00
080 (Competitive Club)120
80.0 points below club competitor benchmark

These scores are mathematical weightlifting coefficients used to normalize performance across bodyweights. Inputs should reflect maximum single-repetition lifts performed with proper form.

Was sind Powerlifting-Koeffizientensysteme?

Wilks Coefficient = 500 / (a + bx + cx² + dx³ + ex⁴ + fx⁵)

DOTS Coefficient = 500 / (a + bx + cx² + dx³ + ex⁴)

IPF GL Points = 100 · (Total / (A - B · e^(-C · Bodyweight)))

Welches System sollten Sie nutzen?

  • USA Powerlifting (USAPL) & USPA: Track your DOTS Score. These federations utilize DOTS to select best lifter awards.
  • IPF and USAPL (Equipped): Track your IPF GL Points. The international body uses GL points for all classic and equipped world championships.
  • Historical Comparisons: Use the Wilks Score if you are comparing your lifts against historical data or lifting records set before 2019.
